Mikayla met BB Aesthetics founder Brittney Burnworth when she was nineteen. This inspired her to pursue a profession in medical aesthetics and Mikayla has never looked back. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing, and is currently studying to become a nurse practitioner, aiming to complete her second degree in the spring of 2022.
Mikayla is certified in both Allergan and Galderma, and stays educated on the latest techniques and products. As an injector, her typical day consists of client appointments, including under-eye, cheek, lip fillers .Also, RF microneedling, Sculptra and body contouring lasers. Mikayla trained under BB Aesthetic founder Brittney Burnworth, to master the art of natural lip augmentation, and patients have traveled the world to receive injection treatments by Mikayla.
Mikayla grew up in Sunbury, Ohio and could talk about dogs all day long. English bulldogs are her favorite, and she donates a portion of her free time to Buckeye Bulldog Rescue. Mikayla has also supported the Nationwide Children’s Hospital for the last four years. She’s a natural organizer, a great communicator, and loves to travel and relax anywhere she can find a body of water.
